TANTA, 16 Feb - This week marks the return of Ligue de Tanta after a month of absence due to winter break. The biggest news during the winter break which is also concurrent with the January transfer window is the return of Jamizulfikri into the starting lineup of Alamiyah. He decided to come back to Alamiyah after playing only a game with C.I.N.D.A.I and what a big decision it has been. Since returning, he has netted a goal and created four others for the Alamiyah, contributing to a 2-0 win against Brachial Plexus and a mouth-watering 3-3 draw with BeWin. He is definitely the missing link that Alamiyah needed all this while.
Team Matlub continued their dominance at the top of the table with another win. This time against the struggling Den Lacoste. Goals from Isa and and an own goal gave the leaders a comfortable 2-0 win. Den Lacoste also lost their other two games against Perawan and DDB with a defeated scoreline of 2-0 and 3-0 respectively. They are currently at the bottom of the table with no wins, no draws and no goals.
Carabelli which earlier before the winter break was performing outstandingly without a loss and without a goal conceded, had ran out of gas this week. They drew against Team Kaki Kuat 2-2 which they should have secured 3 points and loss heavily against Unknown FC 3-0.
On the other hand, Engkau Legend which is a team of similar stature of Carabelli had some ups and downs this week. They hammered Unknown FC 4-0 in gameweek 10 but were out-muscled by the trinity brilliance of Taqiyuddin, Shafiq and Akmal. AFC are becoming more and more of a team to be reckoned with with the presence of the trinity.
Luck was on Risoles side in gameweek 10 as they were given an automatic 3-0 win against C.I.N.D.A.I as their members were no where to be found. But, it wasn't fairy tales for Risoles in gameweek 11 as they were narrowly defeated by Team Kaki Kuat by 1-0. Even the return of their rock solid defender Hanif Shabudin from Malaysia couldn't prevent them from losing.
Espada Ropera were also having a bad week as they went down to a slim defeat to Perawan and Bewin both 1-0.
Espada's world class keeper Shahidi Jaafar was not happy with himself as he yet again could not produce a clean sheet.
Other results, Keling Legends didn't manage to secure a point against DDB as they lost 1-0 and Vallate won against The Noobs 1-0 but failed to do so against AFC as they went down losing 1-0.
