ALAMIYAH RETURNS WITHOUT A BANG

TANTA, 18 Dec - Still at the top of table since Gameweek 1 are Team Matlub with 17 points after grabbing a 2-0 win against DDB. Goals from Azmee and Amirudin were enough for the league leaders to stay at the top. Azmee is currently the joint top scorer with Farid of Brachial Plexus and Fauzi of BeWin. Following Team Matlub in close second in the league standings with only a point behind are Unknown FC. They also managed to secure a 2-0 win against C.I.N.D.A.I. Syafiq and Ehsan scored for Unknown FC so that they could keep the pressure on Team Matlub at the top of the table. There was one yellow card though in this game and it went to Badrul of Unknown FC after he had been ruled by the ref as intentionally pushing Mizan of C.I.N.D.A.I.

BeWin had a glorious night as they thrashed Den Lacoste 4-0, the newcomers rarely even passed the halfway line. It was an absolute one sided game. BeWin scored right from the kick off as Fauzi produced a screamer and minutes later scored a second. He has been outstanding this season, scoring 5 out of the 7 goals BeWin have. The other two goals were scored by Azizan and Nasrul. Den Lacoste however are having a miserable season as they have lost all 6 games and conceded an enormous 20 goals already. By the looks of it they need a miracle to save their season.

On the other hand, the game between Risoles and Vallate was a 1-1 draw. Vallate managed to salvage a point from this game as they scored late in the second half through Halim. Confusion as to whether the ball had hit the back goal post from inside or out was a problem. But at the end, both referees agreed to allow the goal and the game ended as a 1-1 draw. Risoles really tried to win this game with several blocks and excellent tackles from Hanif and Tajrin and not to mention saves from Aziz but Vallate managed to crash their party at the very end. Risoles first half goal was scored by Mat Rusdi and it really got the crowd cheering. That was his first ever goal in four seasons playing in Ligue de Tanta.

Brachial Plexus tried to bounce back from their shock defeat against Risoles last week. They definitely bounce real high as they thumped Keling Legends with a 3-0 defeat. Farid was too strong for the Keling Legends' defense scoring twice. His trickery and quick feet fooled everyone and played as if he was the only one on the futsal court. The other goal was scored by Aiman in the early minutes of the first half.

ALAMIYAH FC: They all disappointed the crowds.
All the buzz in this week was highlighted in the game between Alamiyah and AFC. The reason was entirely because their main players Taufik and Faiz had just come back from their long holiday in Malaysia and are available for the team's lineup to face AFC. But, maybe because still not match fit they didn't quite rose to people's expectations. They didn't find the flair they once had that made opponent teams shiver in fear whenever 'Alamiyah' was mentioned. Maybe by time they'll find back their form, anything can happen. They loss this game to AFC 1-0. The goal was scored by Hadi.
SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!

Other games such as Espada Ropera versus Noobs, Team Kaki Kuat against Engkau Legend and Carabelli versus Pulun Saja, all ended in a 0-0 draw. Next gameweek is scheduled on Tuesday on the 25th of December. There will be no matches this coming Saturday. More goals, more action and more fantastic futsal to be watched next Tuesday. Make sure you clear your schedules on that day. 'Ligue de Tanta, where legends are born!'.
